Fast answers when it matters
The Narre Warren Vet has a fully equipped in-house laboratory. Many routine blood tests can be run while you wait, with results in as little as 10 minutes. This means faster diagnosis, earlier treatment and less worry for you.
Our in-house testing includes
- Complete blood counts and biochemistry
- Electrolytes and thyroid testing
- Pre-anaesthetic screening
- Urinalysis and faecal testing
- Microscopy of blood smears, skin and ear swabs and needle aspirates
- Heartworm and FIV testing
For tissue biopsies and specialised tests, we work closely with a trusted external veterinary laboratory. All results are stored in your pet’s medical record so we can track changes over time.
