Year round protection

Parasites are more than just a nuisance. Fleas cause itching and skin disease, intestinal worms can spread to people, especially children, and heartworm is a serious disease that is easy to prevent but difficult and costly to treat.

Fleas

Monthly or long acting flea prevention keeps your pet comfortable and stops infestations in your home.

Intestinal worms

Puppies and kittens need worming every two weeks until 12 weeks of age, then monthly until six months. Adult pets should be wormed at least every three months.

Heartworm

Heartworm is spread by mosquitoes. We recommend year round prevention for dogs, either with a yearly injection or a monthly product.

Ticks

Paralysis ticks are not common around Narre Warren, but if you are travelling to coastal areas or interstate, your pet will need tick protection.
